Clinical Trial Coordinator

The Opportunity

As the Clinical Trial Coordinator, you will be responsible for the recruitment and coordination of all our clinical trials.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the initiation and implementation of clinical trials within Medlab to include patient recruitment, assessments, follow ups, dispensing study medications and performing anthropometric measurements
  • Collect and monitor clinical trial data to ensure quality control and fulfilment of good clinical practice criteria.
  • Submissions to Ethics Committee and maintenance of ethics documentation.
  • Study document presentation – including protocols, patient information sheet and source document templates.
  • Liaise with physicians, study team, scientists, and patients to coordinate research visits and study procedures.
  • Assist with study publications.
  • Assist with data preparation for analysis.


About You

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Tertiary education in medical/biological/science/nursing or equivalent
  • Experience in the independent coordination of clinical trials and knowledge of ICH/GCP
  • Understanding of ethics in clinical research.
  • Demonstrated organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.

The Opportunity 

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will provide support and guidance on all aspects of the company, its leadership team, the Board, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Management of complex diary for the CEO
  • Organise extensive international and domestic travel itineraries for the CEO and Executive team
  • Build and maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders globally
  • Prepare board meetings and reading materials
  • Prepare/edit and fact check documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, workshops, events, banker and investor roadshows
  • Manage global conferences for CEO. Including registrations and presentations
  • Project management 
  • Extensive file organisation
  • Support the Board and leadership team as required

 

About You: 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant
  • We are looking for a dynamic and agile person with exceptional organisational skills 
  • High level Microsoft Office skills
  • High level interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask and juggle various time zones
  • Knowledge or experience in a medical or human sciences field is preferrable 
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a broader team 
  • Strong and thorough understanding of the English language

The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Research Scientist to join our research team. You will be undertaking projects involving product research, development, characterisation, and industrialisation.

The position is under the supervision and direction of the Director of Research.

  • Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Planning, organising, and overseeing allocated research projects
  • Improving and modifying current processes
  • Recording and analysing data
  • Presenting results to colleagues and management
  • Liaising with internal and external collaborators
  • Take responsibility as requested for day-to-day advice and support of research outputs.
  • Engage with the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications and scholarly dissemination. 

 

About You

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A minimum qualification at MSc level in either
  • molecular biology of nucleic acids, proteins, or lipids
  • organic or physical chemistry
  • Experience with HPLC / LC MS and competency in operation 
  • Experience in method development and validation in an R&D role
  • Analytical experience, preferably in a NATA accredited or GMP environment

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to support the Pharmaceutical Department in the delivery of services to Medlab’s clients and suppliers. 

Duties and Responsibilities include

  • Process account applications in database
  • Invoicing and processing of orders and finalising in system
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to queries
  • Respond to general enquiries via email.
  • Assisting with day to day activities within the Pharmaceutical team
  • Accurately maintain files both physical and digital
  • Ad hoc duties as required 

 

About You

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 2 years prior experience within a similar role
  • Experience with Microsoft programs
  • Strong organisational, verbal and written communications skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Positive and motivated with a willingness to assist where needed
