Magnesium Orotate [Pilot 1] - nested within SAMe study

The effect of 1600mg daily dosage of Magnesium supplementation as an augment to SSRI medication on the clinical symptoms of patients with treatment resistant depression: a pilot study. This was the S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) and Magnesium Orotate as adjunctives to SSRIs in sub-optimal treatment response of depression in adults; a pilot study.

FORMULATION

The Magnesium Orotate administered in the first pilot study was introduced to further investigate Medlab’s potential discovery of the role of Orotate/Uridine metabolites to improve moods disorders.
